• About Web Design Tools

There are so many software choices for designing web sites. And, there also many hardware tools; a fast computer, dual monitors, or triple monitors increase your productivity, but are not necessary. A camera and scanner are necessary, depending on your web design.

I am going to focus on the most valuable ’software’ tools for web designers, from my personal arsenal. Each software carries different licenses; open source, shareware, commercial software, etc…

Instead of listing the most obvious software like, Gimp, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Flash, I am listing other very important web design tools.

These web design tools can also be used for graphic design, web development, and many other tasks.

    Font Manager

You need a font manager to manage and activate your fonts, without copying the fonts into your windows/ font directory.
